The Zurich party crew Motherland is renowned for presenting urban sounds from different African cities. During the festival, «Air Motherland» will take off four times. The destinations will be Kinshasa, Abidjan, Dar es Salaam and Lagos.

The maiden flight of Motherland@Theater Spektakel takes us to Kinshasa: Nowhere in the world, do hips sway more impressively than in Kinshasa to the sound of the rumba congolaise. Bovick Shamar and band will turn the Club into a steaming music palace with a mix of rumba, afro beat and coupé-décalé. After that, the former Ivorian football star Calixte Zézé, aka DJ Calix, will take over the mike and the drum machine. (jwy)
