Stefan Kaegi & Rimini Protokoll
Mnemopark
Eine Modelleisenbahnwelt
Switzerland
Small things exert an enormous fascination. A group of model railway enthusiasts have created a miniature version of Switzerland for theatre inventor Stefan Kaegi. The landscape includes faithful reproductions of existing locations as well as locations that have sprung from the memories of the participants, namely four model railway specialists, an actress and a chicken. They take the audience on an informative sightseeing tour through «Mnemopark». «What’s the use of scenery?» is the omnipresent question. A mini camera, mounted to the locomotive, projects Swiss landscapes onto a backdrop and creates images which are a perplexing mix of fact and fantasy. Your last opportunity to see this successful cult show. (kdi)
