As much as we were familiar with our grandparents when we were kids, we know little about their younger years. What did they do when they were teenagers? When did they get married? Why did they live in Oerlikon? After the successful project «5000 Liebesbriefe», the dramaturge Mats Staub has turned his attention to what we know about our grandparents. He has collected photographs from and recorded interviews with numerous people. Their memories interest him as much as the gaps do. The result of his inquiry is presented in an audio-visual installation at the new festival venue, the Turm. Listen to people’s trips down memory lane while enjoying the beautiful view, a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. (bk)
